Excitement continues to build for the prestigious FIVB Volleyball Men’s Club World Championship 2024 as the host city and competing teams have been confirmed.

The tournament will take place from 10 to 15 December 2024 in the Sabiazinho Arena in Uberlandia, Brazil and will feature eight elite clubs from around the world, representing the very best of men’s club volleyball.

No stranger to hosting world-class volleyball competitions, Brazil last hosted the FIVB Volleyball Men's Club World Championship in Betim in 2022, in what was its 17th edition.

Competing for the title of Club World Champions 2024 are:

  • Trentino Itas (ITA) - 2023-24 CEV Champions League - winner
  • Cucine Lube Civitanova (ITA) - Replacement of the 2023-24 CEV Champions League - runner-up*
  • Sada Cruzeiro (BRA) - 2023-24 CSV Club Championship - winner
  • Ciudad Voley (ARG) - 2023-24 CSV Club Championship - runner-up
  • Foolad Sirjan Iranian (IRI) - 2023-24 AVC Club Championship - winner
  • Shahdab Yazd (IRI) - 2023-24 AVC Club Championship - runner-up
  • Al Ahly SC (EGY) - 2023-24 CAVB Club Championship – winner
  • Praia Clube (BRA) - Host club

As teams and fans from around the world prepare to visit Brazil, a long-time successful volleyball nation, for the Club World Championship, spectators can expect a true celebration of the sport. The competition will see one team take the crown from reigning champions, Italian club Sir Sicoma Perugia, who hold the 2023 title after defeating Brazil’s Itambe Minas 3-0 in last year’s final.
