The reigning Major League Volleyball (formerly Pro Volleyball Federation) champions, the Orlando Valkyries were selected by the FIVB as the replacement for the 2025 AVC Women’s Champions League runners-up after teams from the Asian continent could not confirm their participation.

Set to represent the NORCECA region at the tournament, the Valkyries have players with significant international experience in their squad, such as Serbian two-time world champion libero Teodora Pušić and Puerto Rican opposite Brittany Abercrombie.

In São Paulo, the Valkyries will compete with Brazil’s Osasco São Cristovão Saúde and Dentil Praia Clube, Italy’s Prosecco DOC Imoco Conegliano and Savino Del Bene Scandicci, Peru’s Club Alianza Lima, Egypt’s Zamalek Sporting Club and Kazakhstan’s Zhetysu VC.

Matches will be held at the Mercado Livre Arena Pacaembu, located in the heart of Brazil’s largest city. The pool phase will go from December 9-11, with four matches a day. December 12 will be the rest day, with the semifinals following on the 13th and the finals ending the event on the 14th.
