“For us, it is as if it were a final, that is, a match without margins of error that guarantees access to the Final Four. Cisterna absolutely deserved to qualify for the quarterfinals, managing to demonstrate all of their value. We know well how in such matches the values on paper can be completely overturned on the court and, therefore, we will have to pay a lot of attention, aware that it could be a difficult and very long commitment.” Fabio Soli, head coach of Itas Trentino Trento
“This is an important event and I hope we will be able to express our best volleyball. Trento is one of the best teams not only in the SuperLega, but also internationally. Without putting too much pressure on ourselves, the key for us will be to fight to the max for every point, while having fun. This way we will try to have our say.” Efe Bayram, outside hitter of Cisterna Volley
“We will play at home in the last match of 2024, an important challenge to achieve one of our main objectives. We want to repeat our performance from the victory over Milan in the championship and return to play the Final Four of the Coppa Italia.” Fabio Balaso, libero of Cucine Lube Civitanova
“Now we have to think about what is coming and not so much about the last two games. It is a fundamental challenge, maybe not for the whole season, but certainly for the moment. It won't be easy against Lube. We continue to show some good things, but we always lack something. We have to be good at finding it on Sunday, that little something…” Matey Kaziyski, outside hitter of Allianz Milan
“It's one of the most important matches of our entire journey this year. We're facing a team that on paper is one of the three strongest in the championship. Their strength is their experience and level of play. We'll certainly give it our all because we know how important the challenge is.” Radostin Stoytchev, head coach of Rana Verona
“Hera comes Verona in a do-or-die match. We have to show who we are and where we want to go. If we want to win something, we have to prove it already in Verona. Participating in the Final Four of the Coppa Italia is our goal.” Antoine Brizard, setter of Gas Sales Bluenergy Piacenza
“On Thursday, I did quite well, but I can do even better. I don't think playing against the same opponent is an advantage, because it will be a completely different match. It's not the championship; it’s the Italy Cup, and we want to win by any result.” Yuki Ishikawa, outside hitter of Sir Susa Vim Perugia
