The two-time Superliga champions took care of business on Sunday, sweeping (25-21, 25-23, 25-23) 12th-placed JF Vôlei on the road and counted on a series of favorable results to move up in the standings.

SESI entered the week outside the qualification zone in ninth place, but went up to 26 points (nine wins, nine losses) after their victory and passed Suzano Vôlei (26), Vôlei Guarulhos Bateubet (25) and Azulim Sicoob Aracoop Monte Carmelo (25), getting to sixth place.

All their opponents dropped their matches in the weekend, with Suzano going down in straight sets (26-24, 25-21, 25-17) to second-placed Praia Clube on Saturday, Guarulhos falling to fifth-placed Saneago Goiás Vôlei also in three sets (25-21, 25-14, 25-17) on Sunday and Monte Carmelo dropping a five-setter (21-25, 21-25, 25-17, 25-20, 15-8) to tenth-placed Joinville Vôlei on Monday.

Opposite Marcos Júnior was SESI's top scorer against JF Vôlei with 16 points (14 kills, two blocks), followed by middle blocker Thiery Nascimento, who scored ten (six kills, four blocks). Libero Douglas Pureza was the match's MVP.

The result confirmed JF Vôlei's relegation to the Brazilian Superliga B in 2026-2027. With only two points earned in 18 matches, they can no longer avoid the bottom of the standings before the end of the regular season.

Minas beat Campinas on the road

The biggest victory of the seventh leg happened on Saturday, when fourth-placed Itambé Minas went on the road and defeated third-placed Vôlei Renata Campinas 3-2 (25-16, 21-25, 22-25, 25-19, 15-12).

On the same day, league leaders Sada Cruzeiro swept (26-24, 25-16, 25-17) tenth-placed Viapol Vôlei São José at home.
