SESI entered the week outside the qualification zone in ninth place, but went up to 26 points (nine wins, nine losses) after their victory and passed Suzano Vôlei (26), Vôlei Guarulhos Bateubet (25) and Azulim Sicoob Aracoop Monte Carmelo (25), getting to sixth place.
All their opponents dropped their matches in the weekend, with Suzano going down in straight sets (26-24, 25-21, 25-17) to second-placed Praia Clube on Saturday, Guarulhos falling to fifth-placed Saneago Goiás Vôlei also in three sets (25-21, 25-14, 25-17) on Sunday and Monte Carmelo dropping a five-setter (21-25, 21-25, 25-17, 25-20, 15-8) to tenth-placed Joinville Vôlei on Monday.
Opposite Marcos Júnior was SESI's top scorer against JF Vôlei with 16 points (14 kills, two blocks), followed by middle blocker Thiery Nascimento, who scored ten (six kills, four blocks). Libero Douglas Pureza was the match's MVP.
The result confirmed JF Vôlei's relegation to the Brazilian Superliga B in 2026-2027. With only two points earned in 18 matches, they can no longer avoid the bottom of the standings before the end of the regular season.
