The victory took Praia to eight points in the standings (three wins), placing them at the top, above everyone else. Defending champions Sada Cruzeiro come next with seven, while Vôlei Renata Campinas, Suzano Vôlei, Saneago Goiás Vôlei and Guarulhos all have six. Also undefeated, SESI Bauru played only two matches and have five points.

Praia's 35-year-old opposite Franco Paese earned the match's MVP award after registering 31 points (29 kills, two blocks). Outside hitter Paulo Vinicios Silva also had a strong performance, tallying 20 points, with 14 kills, five blocks and the game-winning ace.

Young opposite Bryan Silva was Guarulhos' leading scorer with 22 points (20 kills, one block, one ace). Argentine national team outside hitter Manuel Armoa and middle blocker Álvaro Dourado tallied 16 points each.

Cruzeiro and Campinas back to winning ways

Also qualified for the Club World Championship, Campinas and Cruzeiro recovered from second-leg upsets and both earned three points over the weekend. Argentine Olympic medalist opposite Bruno Lima carried the team's offense with 21 points (20 kills, one block).
