12 teams compete in the 2024-2025 season of Brazil’s women’s volleyball Superliga.
In the first stage of the competition, the regular season, played between September 16, 2024, and March 21, 2025, each team plays a total of 22 matches - 11 at home and 11 away, facing each opponent twice. The winning team of each 3-0 or 3-1 match receives 3 points. The winning team of each 3-2 match receives 2 points. The losing team of each 3-2 match receives 1 point.
The top eight teams of the final regular season standings advance to the best-of-three quarterfinal playoffs. The winners of the four quarterfinals advance to the best-of-three semifinals. The winners of the two semifinals advance to the final, which will be held in a single match, on April 27, 2025. In the quarterfinals and the semifinals, teams placed higher in the regular season host two of the potential three matches and decide if they want to start the series at home or on the road.
The teams that finish in 11th and 12th places in the regular season will be relegated to the Brazilian second division in 2025-2026.
