The Sunday evening matches in the Italian men’s volleyball SuperLega Credem Banca offered a lot of drama, garnished with a change of guard on top of the current standings. Cucine Lube Civitanova handed Rana Verona their first defeat of the new season, and Sir Susa Scai Perugia took advantage of the opportunity to emerge as the new table leader and the only remaining unbeaten team, but not before celebrating the victory in a five-set turnaround at Gas Sales Bluenergy Piacenza in the last of five sixth-leg matches played over the weekend.
