It is the third consecutive season VBTV offers all matches of the SuperLega live and on demand, in addition to the women’s season in Italy and a number of other high-level competitions from the world of volleyball and beach volleyball, at only €4.99 a month or €19.90 a year. The fans of Italian men’s volleyball can also enjoy the games of the Del Monte Coppa Italia and the Del Monte Supercoppa Italiana, as well as the exciting battles in Italy’s second division, Serie A2, for which the season has already started.

The 12 SuperLega teams – Allianz Milan, Cisterna Volley, Cucine Lube Civitanova, Farmitalia Catania, Gas Sales Bluenergy Piacenza, Gioiella Prisma Taranto, Itas Trentino Trento, Pallavolo Padova Padua, Rana Verona, Sir Safety Vim Perugia, Valsa Group Modena and Vero Volley Monza – will first play a home-and-away double round-robin regular season that will last through early March, 2024. Then, the top eight teams of the final regular season standings will move on to the playoffs, which will determine the 2024 Italian national champion in three rounds – quarterfinals, semifinals and a final.

Meanwhile, the first eight teams in the standings after the first half of the regular season will qualify to participate in Coppa Italia 2024, Italy’s national cup competition, which consists of quarterfinals, semifinals and a final and is usually played during the winter months.

The first major domestic trophy of the Italian men’s volleyball season will be handed to the winners in just 16 days, on November 1, when the big national super cup final takes place in Biella. The two participating teams will be determined on the previous day, when the two Supercoppa Italiana semifinals are played at the same venue, between Trentino and Sir and between Piacenza and Lube.

The Serie A2 Credem Banca regular season started over the weekend, October 14 and 15. The 14 participating teams will play a home-and-away double round robin, the winner of which will get a direct ticket to the A2 semifinals, while the next six in the standings will meet in quarterfinal playoffs. The eventual winner of the A2 playoffs in late April will earn promotion to the 2024-2025 SuperLega.
