The Italian league announced its annual awards for the SuperLega Credem Banca 2023-2024 season. The nominations were based on the clubs’ votes or the individual statistics during the regular season. As many as six of the nominations went to players who are about to compete at the highest international level, the Paris 2024 Olympic Games – Argentina’s Agustin Loser (two awards), France’s Theo Faure, Italy’s Alessandro Michieletto and Luca Porro, and Japan’s Ran Takahashi.
Pallavolo Padova Padua’s 20-year-old outside hitter Luca Porro was named the Best U23 Player to earn the Gianfranco Badiali prize.
Champions Sir Susa Vim Perugia’s head coach Angelo Lorenzetti was voted Best Coach of the season to receive the Costa-Anderlini award.
The Ilario Toniolo award for the season’s Best Referee in the SuperLega went to Stefano Cesare.
