16 teams compete in the 2024-2025 season of Poland’s men’s volleyball PlusLiga.
The first stage of the competition, the home-and-away double round-robin regular season, is played between September 13, 2024 and March 23, 2025. The winning team of each 3-0 or 3-1 match receives 3 points. The winning team of each 3-2 match receives 2 points. The losing team of each 3-2 match receives 1 point. The total number of points collected is the first classification criterion for the regular season standings. The next tie-breaking criteria are the number of matches won, the set ratio, the point ratio and the head-to-head record, in that order.
The top eight teams of the final regular season standings advance to the best-of-three quarterfinal playoffs, with the host team changing after each match. The first matches are hosted by the teams that finished higher in the regular season standings.
The winners of the quarterfinal playoffs advance to the best-of-three semifinal playoffs, with the host team changing after each match. The first matches are hosted by the teams that finished higher in the regular season standings.
The winners of the semifinal playoffs advance to the best-of-five championship final playoff, which determines the 2025 Polish national champions and the silver medallists. The host team changes after each match. The first match is hosted by the team that finished higher in the regular season standings.
The losers of the semifinal playoffs proceed to the best-of-three third place playoff, which determines the bronze medallists. The host team changes after each match. The first match is hosted by the team that finished higher in the regular season standings.
The two losers of the quarterfinal playoffs that were highest in the regular season standings proceed to a fifth-place playoff played in a standard home-and-away series with a golden set as the tie-breaker. The second match and the potential golden set are hosted by the team that finished higher in the regular season standings.
The two losers of the quarterfinal playoffs that were lowest in the regular season standings finish the season in the places seventh and eighth.
The teams that finished the regular season in the places from ninth to 16th keep their places in the final standings.
The teams that finished in the places from 14th to 16th are relegated from the PlusLiga.
