Matchups confirmed for men’s volleyball quarterfinals

The match pairings for the men’s volleyball quarterfinals have been confirmed following the draw that took place right after the match between Argentina and the United States on Sunday that concluded the preliminary round stage at Ariake Arena.

Poland and ROC earned the top spots in Pools A and B, while Italy and Brazil took second place after finishing with four victories in five matches. Japan and Argentina both qualified for the quarterfinals after beating Iran and the United States in the do-or-die matches to finish in third, Canada and France are also in the final eight with their two wins.

The men’s volleyball quarterfinals will take place on Tuesday, August 3 (All times local).

• Italy v Argentina – 17.00
