Preliminary Phase

The competition will begin with eight teams divided into two pools (A and B) of four teams each. Every team will play once against the three other teams in its pool. Following the completion of the pool phase, the teams will advance to the knockout and classification rounds based on their final position in their respective pool.

Quarterfinals

The teams finishing second and third in each pool will advance to the quarterfinals. The second-placed team from Pool B will play the third-placed team from Pool A, while the second-placed team from Pool A will play the third-placed team from Pool B. The two pool winners will receive a bye directly to the semifinals.

Semifinals

The winners of the quarterfinals will join the first-placed teams from Pool A and Pool B in the semifinals. The semifinal matchups will be determined according to the competition bracket.

Classification Matches

The fourth-placed teams from the preliminary phase and the teams eliminated in the quarterfinals will compete in the classification matches for fifth to eighth place. The winners of these matches will play for fifth place, while the losing teams will play for seventh place.

Finals

The two semifinal winners will play the gold medal match to determine first and second place in the NORCECA Continental Championship. The two teams that do not win their semifinals will play for third and fourth place.

Olympic Qualification Phase

The top four teams from the NORCECA Continental Championship will advance to the Continental Qualification phase. In the semifinals, the first-ranked team will play the fourth-ranked team, while the second-ranked team will play the third-ranked team. The winners will advance to the Continental Qualification Final, while the losing teams will play a classification match. The winner of the Continental Qualification Final will qualify for the Olympic Games.
