Serbia

The senior women's team of Serbia, winners of the bronze medal at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, and silver medallists at the 2021 CEV European Championship in Belgrade, were named best national team of the country for the 11th time by the Serbian Olympic Committee. A ceremony celebrating Serbia's top sports personalities was held at the grand hall of the National Assembly in Belgrade.

Award winners also included Jovana Prekovic, an Olympic, world and European champion in karate, who was named the best female athlete in Serbia in 2021. The men's individual award went to Filip Filipović, captain of the Serbian water polo team, who were Olympic champions at Tokyo. The top men's team award also went to water polo.

The grand ceremony was attended by Gyula Mester, First Vice-President of the Volleyball Federation of Serbia, Jelena Nikolic, Vice-President of the Volleyball Federation of Serbia, and Dejan Bojovc, Sports Director of the senior volleyball national teams of Serbia.
