2025 FIVB Volleyball Women’s Club World Championship: schedule and results

The winners of the 2022 and 2023 editions of the Club World Championship have never lost a match in the tournament, having won their first two titles undefeated and made it to the final in 2025 in the same way, accumulating four victories in Belém. On Sunday, they can become just the third team to have three or more world titles on the men's side, joining compatriots Itas Trentino and Brazil's Sada Cruzeiro, which have five each.

Tunisian opposite Wassim Ben Tara was pivotal in Perugia's semifinal victory over Campinas, producing a match-high 16 points, with 13 kills, two blocks and one ace. Argentine middle blockers Agustín Loser and Sebastián Solé came next, with 11 and ten points, respectively.

Opposite Newton 'Acerola' Fernandes was the only Campinas player to get to double digits in scoring, registering 11 points (nine kills, two aces). Outside hitters Adriano Xavier and Renan Bonora contributed seven points each.

Making their second Club World Championship appearance, Campinas have already secured their best result in the tournament this year, overcoming the sixth-place finish they had in 2022. On Sunday, they will try to earn their first medal in the tournament.
