The Final Four tournament of the Slovenian Cup ran from December 20-22 in Ljubljana and Calcit Volley claimed their fourth trophy in the women's category, while ACH Volley Ljubljana claimed their 13th title in the men's.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic restrictions, Slovenia's women's cup final was cancelled in 2020-21, which meant that Nova KBM Branik from Maribor were defending their 2019-20 title at the Tivoli Hall. A young but promising team led by Bruno Najdič proved themselves a tough opponent for current Slovenian champions Calcit Volley Kamnik who at the end celebrated a 3-1 (25-21, 17-21, 25-22, 25-20) win and their fourth Slovenian Cup trophy.

In the men’s competition, defending champions Calcit Volley lost their semifinal clash against Merkur Maribor, who then played ACH Volley Ljubljana in the final aiming to win their first cup title since 2005-06. The team from Slovenia’s capital fell short of both national titles in the 2020-21 season, however, and were strongly motivated to return home with a trophy to add to their showcase. ACH Volley Ljubljana defeated Merkur Maribor in an exciting final match 3-2 (28-30, 20-25, 25-21, 25-17, 15-11) for their 13th title.
