Host City: Nanjing
Nanjing is the capital of China's Jiangsu Province, situated in the Yangtze River Delta, with a population of just more than 30 million in the metropolitan area. It is a major Centre of culture, education, research, politics, economy, transport networks and tourism and the home to one of the world's largest inland ports. The city and greater area, known for its natural beauty, attracts millions of tourists annually.
This will be the second year that the city will host the FIVB Volleyball Nations League Women's Finals. The first edition saw the USA win the competition, beating Turkey. A major sporting hub and home to major league teams in several sports, Nanjing is no stranger to elite sport and has hosted the 2005 National Games of China and the 2014 Summer Youth Olympic Games.
