Only athletes born in or after 2009 are eligible to compete at the 2026 FIVB Beach Volleyball U18 World Championships.

In each gender, the host country may qualify two teams directly to the main draw. Furthermore, each continental confederation may qualify five teams directly to the main draw. One main draw spot is granted with a wild card.

The remaining four spots in the main draw are filled through a single-elimination qualification tournament.

Each continental confederation may qualify an additional four teams to the qualification tournament and four reserve teams.

A country quota of one team per gender is applied (host country excepted). However, a second team from the same country may be selected, if needed to fill the roster of the qualification tournament.

Teams are selected to play in the 2026 FIVB Beach Volleyball U18 World Championships in priority as per the following:

1. Based on U18 continental qualifying event final standings - five teams per confederation per gender in the main draw and four teams in the qualification;

2. In case a continental confederation does not use the entire quota, the FIVB may fill the roster of the event through qualification and reserve teams or host country reserve teams, based on:

-    sporting performance at the 2025 Beach Volleyball U18 World Championships in Doha, Qatar
- the recent organization of age-group world championships, age-group continental events, age-group zonal events, age-group national events, Beach Pro Tour events, and other senior FIVB-homologated events
- national federations with the best players in the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Ranking as of 46 days before the start of the tournament…
