Nils Gunnar Ringoen and his 19-year-old partner Even Stray Aas collected their third Beach Pro Tour medal as a pair and made it to the top of the podium for the first time. The eighth-seeded Norwegians won all five of their matches in the Hungarian capital. Their victory run went through a 2-0 (26-24, 21-15) upset of fourth-seeded Hungarians Artur Hajos & Bence Attila Streli in the semifinals, and a narrow 2-1 (21-18, 19-21, 16-14) win over fifth-seeded Tom Sonneville & Quinten Groenewold of the Netherlands in the final.

Groenewold and his 17-year-old teammate went through the tournament on a 4-2 win-loss record and celebrated silver, their first Beach Pro Tour medal. The Dutchmen were supposed to meet top-seeded compatriots Yannick Verberne & Leon Luini in the other semifinal and secured their spot on the podium after the latter forfeited the game. Verberne & Luini also withdrew from the third-place match, so the bronze went to the home pairing of Hajos & Streli. It was their third Beach Pro Tour podium as a duo, as well as second in a row, after they took silver at the Bujumbura Futures last month.

Andrea Lorenzova and 19-year-old Veronika Kleiblova made it to a Beach Pro Tour podium for the first time. The ninth-seeded Czech pair dropped only a set in the five matches played in Budapest. In the semis, they produced a 2-0 (21-18, 21-12) sweep of their encounter with fifth-seeded Elisavet Triantafillidi & Dimitra Manavi of Greeece, and in the final, the Czech duo mastered a 2-0 (21-14, 21-17) upset of second-seeded Lithuanians Ieva Dumbauskaite & Gerda Grudzinskaite.

For Dumbauskaite & Grudzinskaite, it was the third silver and fourth Tour medal this year alone, expanding their overall collection to five medals. The Lithuanian team reached the final undefeated. Their four-game winning streak was crowned with a 2-0 (21-19, 21-16) semifinal victory over Ana Vergara & Nazaret Florian. The third-seeded Spaniards, who played together for the first time on the Tour, bounced back with a 2-0 (21-15, 21-12) sweep of the third-place match against Triantafillidi & Manavi to decorate their joint appearance with bronze.
