The fourth day of the Volleyball World Beach Pro Tour Elite16 event in Hamburg, Germany, featured spectacular quarterfinals and semifinals for both genders at the Rothenbaum stadium.

Of the 16 teams in each gender that started the main draw on Thursday, only two preserve their gold medals hopes. They are Switzerland’s Nina Brunner/Tanja Huberli and USA’s Kelly Cheng/Betsi Flint in the women’s tournament and the Netherlands' Alexander Brouwer/Robert Meeuwsen and Poland’s Michal Bryl/Bartosz Losiak among the men.
