Eight large artworks were produced in each city, by some of the best street painters in the world. Their paintings portray the electrifying nature of the competition, which will get underway in just over a couple of months, and also featured 3D effects adding an interactive element to the designs.
The art was the result of a collaboration between the Dutch Volleyball Federation (Nevobo), the host cities of the World Championship, the province of Gelderland and the World Street Painting organisation.
The 3D images will remain in the three cities until the end of October. A selection of lucky photographers will also win tickets for the World Championship by tagging photos of the paintings on Facebook and Instagram with the following hashtags: #winnenmetjefoto en #worldstreetpainting.
The 2022 Women's World Championship will take place in the Netherlands and Poland, with Gdańsk, Łódź and Gliwice the three host cities in Poland.
