Daniele Santarelli

Prosecco Doc Imoco Volley Conegliano coach Daniele Santarelli has been appointed to lead the women's national team of Serbia. The Volleyball Federation of Serbia and the Italian coach agreed on a contract which will extend as far as 2025. Santarelli replaces long-standing coach Zoran Terzic, who recently announced he was stepping down from the role.

Daniele Santarelli has won four Italian titles with Conegliano (2015, 2018, 2019, and 2021), three Italian Cups (2017, 2020 and 2021), and four Italian Super Cups (2016, 2018, 2019 and 2020). His victories with the club also include an FIVB Volleyball Women's Club World Championship title (2019) and a CEV Champions League title (2021).

From 2012 to 2017, Santarelli was an assistant coach at Pesaro (2012/2013), Urbino (2013/2014), Casalmaggiore (2014/2015) and Conegliano (2015-2017).

From 2018 to 2022, he was also the first coach of the Croatian women's national team, with whom he won two silver medals in the CEV Golden League (2019 and 2021).
