The 14 players selected for the tournament were confirmed by coach Vital Heynen ahead of the beginning of the competition on Friday.

After Bulgaria, the Germans will play Kazakhstan on Monday, reigning world champions Serbia on Thursday, Olympic champs USA on Friday and Canada on Saturday.
