The 2025 FIVB Volleyball Women’s World Championship mascots - the V Angels

One month before the start of the 2025 FIVB Volleyball Women’s World Championship in Thailand, the organizers unveiled the V Angels, the official mascots of the tournament, as well as the championship trophy and a full range of themed merchandise.

At the heart of an event held at the Golden Tulip Sovereign Hotel in Bangkok was the official unveiling of the V Angels, a uniquely Thai interpretation of the mythical Kinnaree, a half-human, half-bird female celestial being from Thai folklore. Developed under the concept of volleyball angels, these beautifully crafted characters reflect the fusion of traditional heritage with modern creativity, symbolizing Thailand as both the Land of Smiles and the Land of Design.

The mascots embody five distinctively colored characters, representing the host cities:

B Angel (Bangkok) – Yellow, Calendula
C Angel (Chiang Mai) – Pink, Wild Himalayan Cherry
K Angel (Korat / Nakhon Ratchasima) – Green, Khao Yai Nature
P Angel (Phuket) – Blue, Azure Seas
T Angel (Thailand) – Red, Ruby Siam

The ceremony also marked the launch of a full line of official merchandise, including jerseys, caps, key chains, water bottles, scarves, mascot dolls, etc. Members of the Thai women’s national team took to the stage one by one, each modeling and showcasing an item, as the official theme song To Be the Champion played in the background.

The World Trophy on Tour was also announced. With it, the Thailand Volleyball Association (TVA) gives volleyball fans across the country the rare opportunity to see the Championship trophy up close. The tour will stop in each of the four co-host cities: in Chiang Mai from July 23 to 27, in Nakhon Ratchasima from July 30 to August 3, in Phuket from August 6 to 10, and in Bangkok on August 16 and 17.

TVA President Somporn Chaibangyang confirmed that all tickets for the Thailand matches have already been sold out. He also emphasized TVA’s commitment to inclusivity, stating that free access will be granted to children, youth, and persons with disabilities.
