Middle blockers Laura Suárez (17) and Dayana Martínez (11), opposite Dezirett Madan (14) and outside hitter Whitney James (13) all got to double digits in scoring as well in the last Cuban match in the tournament.
“We entered the court today with a lot of confidence in the work we’ve been making and the process we’re going through and determined to get the win,” Suárez analyzed. “I thought the team had a different attitude today, and I’m happy that it led us to taking the win.”
