The men’s volleyball field at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games will start taking form when the Volleyball Olympic Qualifying Tournament takes place in Rio de Janeiro, Tokyo and Xi’An from September 30 to October 8 to confirm the first six teams that will join hosts France in the quadrennial event.
Twenty-four teams are competing, and they are split into three single round-robin pools of eight teams each, where the top two teams of each pool will qualify for Paris 2024.
Expect this first stage to be intense with three strong and diverse groups, led by Brazil and Italy in Pool A, Japan and United States in Pool B, and Poland and Argentina in Pool C.
