The Volleyball Nations League 2024 will be held from May 14 to June 30 and be the sixth edition of the premier annual competition for men's and women's national teams.

Four different nations have triumphed among the men in the first five editions - Russia (2018, 2019), Brazil (2021), France (2022) and Poland (2023) - and national teams from two other countries (USA and Japan) have also made it to the podium. Despite having never won gold, the Americans (three silver, one bronze) tie Poland (one gold, one silver, two bronze) in VNL medals.

Among the women, USA (2018, 2019, 2021), Italy (2022) and Türkiye (2023) have lifted the trophy, while China, Brazil, Serbia and Poland also earned medals. Leading the ranking of podium appearances are USA (three gold), Brazil (three silver), Türkiye (one gold, one silver, one bronze) and China (one silver, two bronze).
