Thailand PM-designate Pita Limjaroenrat guest of honour at Volleyball Nations League in Bangkok

Pita Limjaroenrat was the guest of honour at the 2023 Volleyball Nations League match in Bangkok for the women’s week three competition. The prime minister-designate watched Thailand take on Türkiye at the Indoor Stadium Huamark on Thursday.

As his name was called, he was met with a standing ovation, loud cheers and applause from the crowd. The crowd at Indoor Stadium Huamark was so vibrant, energetic and full of life as their 42-year-old leader gamely posed for selfies and even led the crowd in cheering for their women’s team.

And as he stepped onto the court to join the Thai women’s team, more excitement and cheers from the players greeted him.

Members of Thailand’s Fab Six were also in attendance to hand a special present for PM-designate Pita, after he witnessed top-level volleyball action from both competing teams.
