Serbia were in the Final Six of the inauguaral VNL in 2018 (though didn't make it to the semifinals), but dropped to 11th place in 2019.
The side will be led by captain Marko Podrascanin and will also feature such stars as Aleksandar Atanasijevic, who is one of only six players to feature in the list of those that have scored 30 points or more in a single VNL game.
Serbia's women will be showcasing some of their fresh talent at the 2021 VNL, starting on 25 May, but keep a lookout for the youngest player in the tournament, 17-year-old Hena Kurtagic, as well as 22-year-old Katarina Lazovic who has already began to make a name for herself.
