As Brazil's starting setter in the 2019 season, Macris crafted plays that allowed the team to finish the preliminary round in third place with an 11-4 win-loss card. She contributed 35 points off 16 attacks, four blocks and 15 aces, and had a setting average of 4.90 per set. In the final round, she had an 11-point output from attack and service winners and a 4.12 setting average, which drove Brazil to a silver medal finish.
Macris followed in the footsteps of her sister and learned volleyball in Sao Caetano, as a member of the youth team in 1998. She was promoted to the senior team eventually and played there until 2009. She also played for Sao Bernardo before returning to Sao Caetano for one season, then moved to Esporte Club Pinheiros in 2012. Her next stop was at Brasilia Volei before she signed with her current club Minas Tenis Clube, where she won an FIVB Volleyball Women's Club World Championship silver medal and a Best Setter award in 2018.
