The libero leads France's effort in the inaugural competition

Grebennikov took care of defence for France to bring home the runners-up prize in front of their fans at the Finals in Lille. He was named to the VNL Dream Team as Best Libero with a final round performance of 14 digs and 32 receptions - the most number of attempts on the French side. He was also his team's top receiver with a 14.47 per cent efficiency rate and was third in setting with 22 running sets.
He started out with his hometown club Rennes Volley 35 and played there from 2008 to 2013. He then spent two seasons in Germany for VfB Friedrichshafen before moving to Italy in 2015. He played three seasons with Volley Lube, two seasons with Trentino Volley and has been with Modena Volley since 2020.
