Ana Beatriz (BRA)

Brazilian middle blocker Ana Beatriz Correa proved capable of making tough blocks against the strongest hitters in the world at the 2019 FIVB Volleyball Nations League.

After finishing the preliminary round with 51 stuff blocks, Ana Beatriz deflected 13 more attacks in the final round to reign as the toughest Brazilian defender at the net and the tournament's Best Blocker. She was also a reliable scorer for the South American squad who contributed 132 attacks and 10 aces to guide Brazil to the runners-up prize.

The Sao Paulo native played mostly for Sao Paulo-based clubs, except for one season playing for a club in Rio de Janeiro. She started her professional career in 2010 and played for two seasons with Sollys Osasco, before moving to SESI-SP, where she spent the next four season. She moved back to Osasco from 2016 to 2018, before she suited up for Rio de Janeiro Volei Clube. In 2019, the middle blocker moved back to Osasco.
