France take shot at another VNL medal

France look at a return to the podium of the FIVB Men's Volleyball Nations League when the competition returns on 28 May after a one-year hiatus.

France got a shot at the title in the very first edition of the VNL in 2018, but were held down by Russia in the final in Lille. Again they made the Final Six in 2019 in Chicago, but failed to make into the semifinals.

In his last year at the helm of the team, head coach Laurent Tille will have plenty of the stars that have brought France to new heights in recent years, including such fan favourites as Earvin Ngapeth, Benjamin Toniutti and Kevin Le Roux.
