Always in the shadow of their neighbours Brazil, Argentina remain nonetheless a formidable power in world volleyball and now have the chance to prove themselves by climbing up a step in the rankings at the 2021 FIVB Volleyball Nations League in the Italian Adriatic resort of Rimini.

After finishing 14th in the inaugural VNL in 2018, Argentina shot up to 7th place in 2019, just barely missing out on the Final Six.
