Leaders DevelopRes face fourth-placed Commercecon, while fifth-placed Bielsko-Biała meet third-placed Budowlani

Two duels involving teams inside the top five of the 2025-2026 Tauron Liga standings will highlight the 11th leg of the tournament, marking the end of the first round of the regular season in the country.
Having six matches held between Thursday and Monday, the 11th leg is set to start and end with exciting encounters, featuring the top teams in Polish women's volleyball.
The action begins on Thursday, at 17:30 local time (18:30 UTC), with the duel between fifth-placed BKS BOSTIK ZGO Bielsko-Biała and third-placed PGE Budowlani Łódź, two of the hottest teams in the league right now.
The home team, Bielsko-Biała have won their last four matches in the league, getting to Thursday's encounter with 20 points (seven wins, three losses). Some of the standouts in their campaign are Estonian opposite Kertu Laak, who ranks fourth in the Tauron Liga in points (159), outside hitter Martyna Borowczak, who's third in aces (41), and middle blocker Aleksandra Gryka, who's just outside the league's top five in blocking with 28.
Their opponents Budowlani are also in great form, having won three in a row and eight of their last nine matches to accumulate 24 points (eight wins, two losses). Polish national team outside hitter Paulina Damaske is their leading scorer with 134 points, while libero Justyna Łysiak is third in the league in digs (149) and setter Alicja Grabka has 268 assists to her name.
The retrospective between the teams in the Polish League is extremely balanced, with Budowlani having 29 victories to Bielsko-Biała's 26. The team from Łódź won the last five matches, but needed all five sets to prevail in the two most recent of them.
Another exciting duel will take place on Monday, the last day of matches in the 11th leg, with league leaders and defending champions KS DevelopRes Rzeszów visiting fourth-placed ŁKS Commercecon Łódź at 17:30 (18:30 UTC).
With 28 points (nine wins, one loss), DevelopRes get to the match on a seven-match winning streak and are guaranteed to end the first round at the top of the standings. American opposite Taylor Bannister, the team's top scorer with 145 points and the league's second-best server with 22 aces, libero Aleksandra Szczygłowska, who's third in the league in passes (60,49%), and middle blocker Dominika Pierzchała, who had 28 blocks, are pillars in the team's campaign.
Commercecon recovered from back-to-back losses with three consecutive victories and returned to the top four, moving up to fourth place with 21 points (seven wins, three losses). Outside hitter Daria Szczyrba, the team's top scorer (135) and the league's fourth-best server (11), middle blocker Anna Obiała, who leads the league in blocks (36) and has 129 points, and libero Anna Pawłowska, who's fifth in the league in digs (125), are their main weapons.
The rivals have met 35 times before, with DevelopRes winning on 19 occasions and Commercecon coming out on top on 16. The team from Rzeszów triumphed in the last three duels.
