The weekend will start with a doubleheader on Saturday. In the first match of the day, set to start at 12:30 (10:30 GMT), 11-time national team champions LOTTO Chemik Police will host Sokół & Hagric Mogilno, who made their first appearance in the Polish elite in 2024-2025 and finished 11th. After ranking seventh in their last campaign, Chemik made one of the most significant moves of the offseason, signing Polish national team outside hitter Natalia Mędrzyk.
Later, at 14:45 (12:45 GMT), UNI Opole, which finished ninth last year, will play at home against three-time champions ŁKS Commercecon Łódź. The team from Łódź finished second in 2024-2025 and continues to be one of the favorites to win the title this season, having middle blocker Anna Obiała and Ukrainian opposite Anastasiia Hryshchuk as key players in their squad.
After a day with no matches on Sunday, the action resumes on Monday, with the duel between Metalkas Pałac Bydgoszcz and MOYA Radomka Radom, at 17:30 (15:30 GMT). Pałac were sixth last season, while Radomka Radom, who signed five international players ahead of the start of the season, ranked fifth.
The last match of the week should also be the most exciting one, reuniting DevelopRes and fourth-placed Bielsko-Biała, at 17:30 (15:30 GMT), on Tuesday. The team from Rzeszów underwent changes after winning their first Polish title and counts on setter Katarzyna Wenerska, libero Aleksandra Szczygłowska and Dutch outside hitter Marrit Jasper to challenge again. Bielsko-Biała, who will be at home on Tuesday, have Polish national team middle blocker Aleksandra Gryka and Estonian opposite Kertu Laak as key pieces.
