A Tokyo 2020 Olympic bronze medalist with the Serbian national team during her playing career, the 37-year-old Blagojević was added to DevelopRes' coaching staff as an assistant ahead of the 2025-2026 season, only a few months after she retired.

The Serbian, who played for the club from 2017 to 2023, helping them win the Polish Cup in 2021-2022, was elevated to the head coach position on Monday, when the unexpected departure of Cesar Hernández was announced.

Outside hitter Laura Jansen was in excellent form in the first match under Blagojević's guidance, scoring 12 points (ten kills, two blocks) and earning the MVP award as she led DevelopRes against #VolleyWrocław. With 11 and ten points respectively, Belgian middle blocker Laura Heyrman and Polish national team outside hitter Julita Piasecka also had strong performances.

"Like every coach, she's been trying to introduce her own twist in our team," team setter and captain Katarzyna Wenerska said. "I think we can already notice some little changes, especially with our blocking-defense system. She's been with us since the start of the season, and these last few days have been very natural for us."

With the victory, DevelopRes got to 52 points (17 wins, one loss), increasing their lead over second-placed PGE Budowlani Łódź to eight with only four more regular season matches yet to be played before the playoffs.
