The seventh leg of the women’s Daido Life SV.League regular season in Japan will start a little earlier than usual, on Friday, November 21, with the first match of the double header between Saga Hisamitsu Springs and Toray Arrows Shiga. The other six double headers will take place on Saturday and Sunday, November 22 and 23.

Saga Hisamitsu Springs will host Toray Arrows Shiga at the Saga Arena on Friday at 19:05 local time (10:05 UTC) and on Saturday at 15:05 (06:05) in what has been chosen as the SV.League Games of the Week. Saga are riding the wave of a nine-match winning streak that has lifted them to third place in the current standings on a 9-3 win-loss ratio and 25 points. Toray Arrows, on the other hand, are third from the bottom, in 12th place on 3-9 and 8. Last season, the two teams met only twice, in mid-February, with Toray Arrows celebrating four-set home wins in both matches.

Table leaders NEC Red Rockets Kawasaki will play at home against Queenseis Kariya. The games at the Tokyu Dresser Todoroki Arena will serve off at 14:05 (05:05) on Saturday and at 13:05 (04:05) on Sunday. NEC Red Rockets top the standings on 11-1 and 30, while Kariya are seventh on 7-5 and 21.

In one of the most interesting clashes this weekend, Victorina Himeji, standing second on 9-3 and 28, will welcome Kurobe Aqua Fairies, standing fourth on 8-4 and 20. The Victorina Wink Gymnasium will host the matches on Saturday and Sunday, both starting at 14:05 (05:05).

In another exciting encounter, fifth-placed Saitama Ageo Medics will entertain sixth-placed Osaka Marvelous. The home team stands on 6-4 and 17, with two games in hand, while the defending champions are on 7-5 and 24. Saturday’s fixture at the Yume Arena Takata is scheduled at 13:05 (04:05), while Sunday’s game will start an hour earlier, at 12:05 (03:05).

Eighth-placed PFU BlueCats Ishikawa Kahoku will host Astemo Rivale Ibaraki, who will try to put an end to a six-match losing streak. PFU are on 6-6 and 21, while Astemo are on 3-7 and 10 in 11th place. On both competition days, the games at the Toriyasaimiso BlueCats Arena will serve off at 13:05 (04:05).

Gunma Green Wings, who are running in ninth place on 6-6 and 19, will visit Okayama Seagulls, second from the bottom, in 13th place on 1-11 and 4. The starting time of both matches at the Shigeto Arena Okayama is 14:05 (05:05).

Bottom-placed Aranmare Yamagata will entertain Denso Airybees Koriyama at the Tsurushin Arena Komagihara on Saturday at 14:05 (05:05) and on Sunday at 13:05 (04:05). Aranmare are stuck in 14th place on 1-11 and 3, while Denso occupy 10th place on 5-7 and 16.
