PFU BlueCats’ Thailand international Thatdao Nuekjang during timeout

The eighth leg of the women’s Daido Life SV.League regular season in Japan is about to unfold with seven double headers to be played on Saturday and Sunday, November 29 and 30. In one of the interesting clashes this weekend, selected Games of the Week, Thai fans will get to enjoy some of their favorite players go against one another as PFU BlueCats Ishikawa Kahoku welcome Aranmare Yamagata.

PFU BlueCats Ishikawa Kahoku, featuring Thai star middle blocker Thatdao Nuekjang, will host Thai star outside hitter Ajcharaporn Kongyot’s Aranmare Yamagata at the Toriyasaimiso BlueCats Arena at 13:05 local time (04:05 UTC) on both competition days. In addition to Ajcharaporn, Aranmare’s roster features two more Thai players, middle blocker Wimonrat Thanapan and outside hitter Donphon Sinpho. The latter, however, has been out injured for almost a month now. PFU are in the middle of the current standings, in seventh place on a 7-7 win-loss ratio and 24 points, while Aranmare trail bottom, in 14th place on 1-13 and 3.

In a high-profile match-up between two teams with positive balances, standing sixth and third, respectively, Kurobe Aqua Fairies will welcome Saga Hisamitsu Springs to the Kurobe City Gymnastics Center at 14:05 (05:05) on Saturday and at 13:05 (04:05) on Sunday. Kurobe stand on 8-6 and 22, while Saga are three positions above them, on 11-3 and 31.

Leaders NEC Red Rockets Kawasaki will entertain Saitama Ageo Medics at the Culttz Kawasaki, also at 14:05 (05:05) on Saturday and at 13:05 (04:05) on Sunday. NEC top the table on 13-1 and 35, while Ageo occupy 10th place on 6-6 and 17.

Victorina Himeji will travel to Queenseis Kariya for the closing matches on both days’ programs. Himeji are running in second place on 11-3 and 32, while Kariya are ninth on 7-7 and 22. The two games will be played at the Wing Arena Kariya on Saturday at 18:05 (09:05) and on Sunday at 15:05 (06:05).

Fourth-placed defending champions Osaka Marvelous will play at home against Astemo Rivale Ibaraki. They stand on 9-5 and 30, while their visitors are in 11th place on 4-8 and 13. Osaka will host these games at the Baycom General Gymnasium at 14:05 (05:05) on both competition days.

Gunma Green Wings will entertain Toray Arrows Shiga at the Open House Arena Ota at 13:05 (04:05) on both Saturday and Sunday. The home team is in fifth place on 8-6 and 24, while their visitors from Shiga are second from the bottom, in 12th place on 3-11 and 8.

At the same starting time on both competition days, Denso Airybees Koriyama will host Okayama Seagulls at the Fukushima Toyota Crown Arena. Denso are eighth on 7-7 and 22, and Okayama are second from the bottom, in 13th place on 1-13 and 5.
