Table leaders Osaka Marvelous will pay a visit to table trailers Gunma Green Wings for two matches at the Yamato Citizen Gymnasium Maebashi starting at 14:05 local time (05:05 UTC) on both competition days. Osaka stand on top on an 11-3 win-loss ratio and 33 points, while Gunma are stuck in 14th place on 0-12 and 1.
Second-placed Saitama Ageo Medics will play at home against Queenseis Kariya. The games at the Ageo Citizen Gymnasium on Saturday and Sunday start at 13:05 (04:05). Ageo stand on 11-3 and 32 points, just a point behind Osaka. Kariya are in 10th place on 5-9 and 17.
In what is probably the highest-level clash this weekend and the only one between two teams with positive balances, Denso Airybees Koriyama will host Toray Arrows Shiga at the Marusan Attamaru Arena, starting at 13:05 (04:05) on both days. Denso have so far collected the highest number of points in the league, 36, but with a win-loss ratio of 12-4, they are occupying the third place. Toray Arrows are three positions below, in sixth place on 10-6 and 28. Will there be an exciting scoring race between opposites and prolific strikers Rosamaria Montibeller of Brazil and Sylvia Nwakalor of Italy?
