The sixth leg of the men’s Daido Life SV.League in Japan will get underway on Thursday, November 27, with the first match of the double header between Nippon Steel Sakai Blazers and JTEKT Stings Aichi. The second match is on Friday, while another three double headers will be played over the weekend, on November 29 and 30.

Coming out of back-to-back double headers against the top two teams in the current standings, Nippon Steel Sakai Blazers will try to put an end to their four-game losing streak as they host JTEKT Stings Aichi at the Ohama Daishin Arena on Thursday and Friday at 19:05 local time (10:05 UTC). Sakai are currently second from the bottom of the table, in ninth place on a 2-8 win-loss ratio and 6 points, while Aichi are fourth on 6-4 and 18. Last season, Stings won the first three of four encounters between the two clubs, while Blazers celebrated victory in the most recent one.
Defending champions Suntory Sunbirds Osaka will open the weekend program with the first of their home games against Nagano Tridents, at 13:05 (04:05) on Saturday. The second match serves off at the same time on Sunday. The games will be played at the Ookini Arena Maishima. Suntory Sunbirds are currently in second place on 9-1 and 28, and a slightly lower set ratio than leaders Osaka Bluteon. Nagano are running seventh on 3-7 and 12.
Osaka Bluteon, topping the chart on 9-1 and 28, will welcome Hiroshima Thunders to the Panasonic Arena on Saturday and Sunday at 14:05 (05:05). Hiroshima are in fifth place on 5-5 and 15.
Third-placed Wolfdogs Nagoya will also play at home. They will entertain bottom-placed Voreas Hokkaido at the Entrio on Saturday at 14:35 (05:35) and on Sunday at 13:35 (04:35). Nagoya stand on 7-3 and 21, while Voreas trail in 10th place on 2-8 and 6, and a lower set ratio than that of Sakai.
