With all eight playoff spots awarded, but only two final positions already determined, the last leg of the 2025-2026 Brazilian Women's Superliga will shape the tournament's postseason.

The last six matches of the regular season will be held simultaneously on Tuesday, at 21:00 local time (00:00 UTC, Wednesday), and after that, the playoff picture will be crystal clear, with all four quarterfinal matchups confirmed.

The four teams that will have homecourt advantage in the first round of the playoffs are already known - SESC RJ Flamengo (52 points), Gerdau Minas (51), Osasco São Cristovão Saúde (46) and Dentil Praia Clube (44) -, but there could still be changes among them, with Flamengo and Minas fighting for the top spot in the standings and Osasco and Praia competing to finish third.

Below them, fifth-placed SESI Vôlei Bauru (40 points) and sixth-placed Fluminense (32) are sure to keep their spots at the end of the regular season, while seventh-placed Sancor Maringá Vôlei (28) and eighth-placed Batavo Mackenzie (27) could still switch positions.

At the bottom of the standings, 11th-placed Tijuca Tênis Clube (12) and 12th-placed Renasce Sorocaba (six) enter the final leg already relegated, while ninth-placed Brasília Vôlei (21) and tenth-placed Paulistano Barueri (19) won't make it to the playoffs, but can't go down either.

Fighting for first place, Flamengo will be at home against Mackenzie, while their rivals Minas will host the relegated Sorocaba.

Osasco and Praia also end their campaigns at home - the defending champions play SESI, while the Uberlândia side host Tijuca.

The two remaining matches will have Fluminense meeting Brasília with nothing at stake and Maringá trying to confirm their seventh-place finish on the road against Barueri.

Carol Gattaz says goodbye

The conclusion of the Superliga regular season will also mark the end of the career of one of the country's most popular and accomplished players, as middle blocker Carol Gattaz will retire at the age of 44.

Currently a member of Praia Clube, the Tokyo Olympic medalist sustained a serious knee injury in March 2025 and, after having some setbacks in her recovery, decided to end her career.

Carol will be at Praia's match against Tijuca, where she will be honored by the team - she may even play a few points, but that is not yet confirmed.

"It's time," she said in a social media post. "This is not the news I wanted to share, and I worked a lot to recover, but unfortunately, things didn't play out this way.  I couldn't handle the pain anymore, so that's the right decision. I wanted to say goodbye on the court, playing and helping my team, as I did for 29 years, but unfortunately, not everything happens the way we want."
