With six legs left in the 2025-2026 Brazilian Women's Superliga's regular season calendar before the start of the playoffs, four teams have already confirmed their presence in the postseason.

Last year's runners-up SESI Vôlei Bauru want to be the next ones, and they have a good opportunity to do it this week, during the sixth leg of the second round of the regular season.

SESI are currently in fifth place in the standings with 32 points, and they need just another one to get out of the reach of ninth-placed Paulistano Barueri, the first team outside the qualification zone for the playoffs, and join league leaders SESC RJ Flamengo (46), Gerdau Minas (41), third-placed Osasco São Cristovão Saúde (36) and fourth-placed Dentil Praia Clube (33)in the postseason.

Set to face 11th-placed Tijuca Tênis Clube in Rio de Janeiro on Wednesday at 21:30 local time (00:30 UTC, Thursday), SESI must only win two sets to get what they need.

They could have done it on Friday, but lost to Praia in straight sets after five consecutive victories in the Superliga.

Their qualification could be confirmed even earlier, on Tuesday, when Barueri face Osasco at home also at 21:30 (00:30 UTC, Wednesday). If they don't take all three points, Barueri, which have 15 points, will no longer be able to catch SESI, confirming their presence in the elimination rounds.

Ranked sixth, right below Barueri with 24 points, Fluminense could also get closer to the postseason this week if they defeat eighth-placed Batavo Mackenzie on Tuesday at 19:00 (22:00 UTC).

In seventh place with 22 points, Sancor Maringá Vôlei have a tough matchup this week, going on the road against league leaders Flamengo on Thursday, at 19:30 (22:30 UTC).
