The tradition will be kept in Italy and a men’s volleyball SuperLega Credem Banca leg will be played on December 26, the day after the country celebrates Christmas. Friday’s competition program with six matches will open with the most exciting game of the 13^th leg, between sixth-placed Cucine Lube Civitanova and fifth-placed Gas Sales Bluenergy Piacenza.

Cucine Lube Civitanova will welcome Gas Sales Bluenergy Piacenza to the Eurosuole Forum on Friday at 16:00 local time (15:00 UTC). The two teams are neighbors in the current standings. Lube are in sixth place on 22 points and a 7-5 win-loss record and, if they win the match, they will overtake Gas Sales, who are fifth on 23 and 7-5. When the two teams met in Piacenza in November, Gas Sales swept the match in straight sets. The all-time head-to-head record between the two clubs, however, stands heavily in favor of Lube – 13-3 in wins.

In the second game of the day, Rana Verona will host Yuasa Battery Grottazzolina at the Agsm AIM hall, starting at 17:00 (16:00). The home team is running third in the table on 28 and 10-2, while the visitors from Grottazzolina are stuck at the bottom of the standings winless, in 12^th place on 2 and 0-12. Verona won October’s game in Grottazzolina in straight sets.

The new club world champions, Sir Susa Scai Perugia who triumphed in Belem on Sunday, will resume their SuperLega campaign in Italy with an away game at Cisterna Volley. Sir are second in the table on 19 and 10-2, separated from leaders Itas Trentino Trento on set ratios. The home team is second from the bottom, in 11^th place on 6 and 3-9. The Block Devils swept this opponent in straight sets, when they met in Perugia in November. The match in Cisterna di Latina will serve off at 18:00 (17:00).

At the same hour, defending champions Itas Trentino Trento will visit Vero Volley Monza at the Opiquad Arena. Trentino topped the table after surpassing Sir on set ratios with their victory on Sunday. Vero Volley occupy eighth place on 12 and 4-8. In November, the champions shut out Vero Volley at home.

Also serving off at 18:00 (17:00), Allianz Milan will entertain Sonepar Padova Padua at the Allianz Cloud. The home team is in seventh place on 20 and 7-5, while the visitors stand ninth on 11 and 4-8. The season’s first match between these two sides in November offered a five-set battle in Padua, which the visitors from Milan managed to win.

In the last SuperLega match of the 2025 calendar year, Valsa Group Modena will host MA Acqua San Bernardo Cuneo at the Panini hall. The game will start at 20:30 (19:30). Modena are fourth in the standings on 25 and 8-4, while the SuperLega rookies are third from the bottom, in 10^th place on 9 and 2-10. This match-up also produced a five-set duel back in November, when the visitors from Modena lived up to their status as favorites and claimed the victory.
