Although the first match of the 12th leg in the Italian men’s volleyball SuperLega Credem Banca, between FIVB Volleyball Men’s Club World Championship participant Sir Susa Scai Perugia and Vero Volley Monza, was played in advance back in November, the proper second half of the regular season gets underway this weekend, starting with Saturday’s big game between Gas Sales Bluenergy Piacenza and Rana Verona, and completing the leg with the remaining four matches on Sunday.

“It'll be a very tough match against Verona. We're facing a team that performed very well in the first half of the season, and we remember how they did in the first leg. But we have improved since then, and this time we'll be playing in front of our home crowd, who could be the extra player for us. Our goal is to continue to grow and work hard in the gym.” Domenico Pace, libero of Gas Sales Bluenergy Piacenza
“We're facing a great team with the same ambitions as us, aiming to compete with the big teams, and we're both succeeding. I expect a tough match, because they play differently at home, with greater efficiency in various key areas, and one of the league's best receptions. We need to show that we're growing not only technically, but emotionally as well.” Fabio Soli, head coach of Rana Verona
