Prosecco Doc Imoco Conegliano vs. Itas Trentino – Sunday – 17:00 local time (19:00 UTC)

Imoco’s homecoming after winning their fifth-straight Lega Femminile title will be a special day for the home fans and will allow them to meet near the entire team that triumphed last season as most of the players returned for another year. The match could also mark the debut of American outside hitter Khalia Lanier with the Panthers. To Trentino, the duel will be their first in the Italian elite since 2022. The team made big changes in the squad that earned promotion and will count on veterans Yana Shcherban and Valentina Zago to lead their young roster in a challenging season-opener.

Savino Del Bene Scandicci vs. Il Bisonte Firenze – Sunday - 17:00 local time (19:00 UTC)

There should be some exciting new faces on both sides of the net when Savino Del Bene and Firenze meet on Saturday as the two teams made big signings during the off-season. With Savino Del Bene, there’s no shortage of excitement to see what star setter Maja Ognjenović can do with a talented group of hitters that includes Ting Zhu and Ekaterina Antropova and how big the impact of Ana Carolina ‘Carol’ da Silva’s blocking will be. Firenze, on the other hand, have an exciting pair of new signings to present as well, with Japanese outside hitter Mayu Ishiwaka and Italian national team middle blocker Alessia Mazzaro potentially making their debuts.

Allianz Vero Volley Milano vs. Uyba Volley Busto Arsizio - Sunday - 17:00 local time (19:00 UTC)

When it comes to debuts, however, it will be hard to beat the buzz generated by Paola Egonu’s first match with Milano. Brought back to the Italian League after one season in Türkiye, the superstar opposite was the highlight of the several signings made by the team. In Milano, she will meet several Italian national team teammates, such as setter Alessia Orro and outside hitter Myriam Sylla. Busto have taken a different route in the market and put their faith in players who had success with the Italian youth national teams, such as outside hitter Dominika Giuliani and opposite Giorgia Frosini.
