Brazilian rivals SESI Vôlei Bauru and Osasco São Cristovão Saúde are the first teams to secure spots in the 2026 FIVB Volleyball Women's Club World Championship.

The Brazilian sides finished first and second in the Club South American Championship, which was concluded on Sunday, in Lima, Peru, and earned the continent's berths in the tournament.

With that, SESI are set to make their first appearance at the Club World Championship - they won bronze in 2014, when the team was still based in São Paulo. Osasco, on the other hand, have competed among the top club teams in the world six times, winning gold in 2012, silver in 2010 and 2014 and bronze in 2011 and 2025.

In the final, SESI dominated Osasco to triumph in straight sets (25-23, 25-20, 25-20) and earn their first continental title. Coming into this year's event, they had won bronze medals in 2022, 2023 and 2024.

Alianza Lima, which finished second at last year's South American Championship, becoming the first Peruvian team to qualify for the World Championship, this time were third after taking down compatriots Universidad San Martín de Porres 3-1 (25-22, 18-25, 25-16, 25-20) in the bronze medal match.

Players from the four semifinalists formed the tournament's Dream Team, with SESI's captain Dani Lins being the MVP and best setter, Osasco's Bianca Cugno appearing as the best opposite, Osasco's Caitie Baird and Universidad San Martín's Aixa Vigil being picked as best outside hitters, SESI's Diana Duarte and Osasco's Larissa Besen featuring as best middle blockers and Alianza's Esmeralda Sánchez being selected as the best libero.

The event also featured Bolivia's Club Olympic, Chile's Boston College, Ecuador's Club Deportivo de Alto Rendimiento, Peru's Regatas Lima and Uruguay's Club Banco República.
