Brazilian rivals SESI Vôlei Bauru and Osasco São Cristovão Saúde are the first teams to secure spots in the 2026 FIVB Volleyball Women's Club World Championship.
The Brazilian sides finished first and second in the Club South American Championship, which was concluded on Sunday, in Lima, Peru, and earned the continent's berths in the tournament.
With that, SESI are set to make their first appearance at the Club World Championship - they won bronze in 2014, when the team was still based in São Paulo. Osasco, on the other hand, have competed among the top club teams in the world six times, winning gold in 2012, silver in 2010 and 2014 and bronze in 2011 and 2025.
In the final, SESI dominated Osasco to triumph in straight sets (25-23, 25-20, 25-20) and earn their first continental title. Coming into this year's event, they had won bronze medals in 2022, 2023 and 2024.
