Hangzhou, China has been officially announced as the host city for the FIVB Women’s Club World Championship 2024, taking place from 17-22 December.
Returning to China for the second year running, the matches will be held at the Huanglong Sports Center, an 8,000-capacity venue that is set to provide an electric atmosphere.
The eight club teams that will compete for a place on the podium at the FIVB Women’s Club World Championship 2024 have also now been announced, as the qualification period for the tournament concluded.
The qualified teams are:
- Prosecco Doc Imoco Conegliano (ITA) - 2023-24 CEV Champions League - winner
- Numia Vero Volley Milano (ITA) - 2023-24 CEV Champions League - runner-up*
- Gerdau Minas (BRA) - 2023-24 CSV Club Championship - winner
- Dentil Praia Clube (BRA) - 2023-24 CSV Club Championship - runner-up
- NEC Red Rockets Kawasaki (JPN) - 2023-24 AVC Club Championship - winner
- LP Bank Ninh Binh (VIE) - 2023-24 AVC Club Championship - runner-up
- Zamalek Sporting Club (EGY) - 2023-24 CAVB Club Championship – winner
- Tianjin Bohai Bank Women's Volleyball Club (CHN) - Host Club
