Serbian Generation O star and Eczacibasi Dynavit Istanbul captain Tijana Boskovic was named the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the 2023 FIVB Volleyball Women’s Club World Championship in Hangzhou, China. The 26-year-old 1.93m-tall opposite claimed the Club World Championship’s highest individual recognition for the second time, after also doing so back in 2016, the last time Eczacibasi triumphed with the crown. Boskovic also led a line-up of seven outstanding players who were honoured on the symbolic Hangzhou 2023 Dream Team during a memorable awarding ceremony after the final on Sunday:

Boskovic was Eczacibasi’s best scorer in each of their four victories in Hangzhou and overall the second best scorer of the tournament. She finished with 90 points (78 spikes, 4 blocks, 8 aces), three short of chart leader Tainara Santos of Brazil’s Dentil Praia Clube Uberlandia. The Serbian opposite also shared the top of the best servers’ ranking with Li Yingying and was the second best attacker of the Club World Championship.
