The five pools for the FIVB Volleyball Boys’ U17 World Championship were completed Saturday after the 10 teams in Rows 3 and 4 were drawn into their preliminary round groups for the competition in Doha, Qatar, from August 19-29.
France and Venezuela joined host Qatar and Tunisia in Pool A, while India and Romania were drawn with Italy and Cuba in Pool B.
Pool C brought Mexico and Poland together with Argentina and Brazil. Bulgaria and Türkiye joined Spain and Egypt in Pool D, while Pakistan and Algeria completed Pool E with Iran and Chinese Taipei.
Qatar and the nine highest-ranked participating teams according to the FIVB Junior World Ranking had already been placed in the first two rows across the five pools.
