The host country team Qatar and the 2024 world champion Italy are qualified automatically.
Each continental confederation qualifies teams through the continental pathway – six for the CEV, four each for the AVC and the NORCECA, and three each for the CAVB and the CSV.
The remaining teams qualify based on their positions in the FIVB Boys’ U17 World Ranking.
